Morehead Foundry multiplex has officially opened and we were fortunate to learn more about this 33,000-square-foot building that has been converted into multiple concepts that include three eateries, a private bar, an event space and a catering company!

Lee Comer lead a discussion on:

  • What led her to that particular building and area
  • The construction/design process. How this warehouse that she purchased has evolved to this incredible facility.
  • An overview of the various restaurants and venues
  • Future plans for Fresh. Local. Good. Food Group

Pictures from March Crewtini

In March we gathered at 1618 Midtown for the first Crewtini of 2017.  We had over 30 people in attendance with 2 hours to network.  As you can see by all the smiles, the event was a huge success!! We are very thankful for our event sponsor Bentley Mills.  They had the opportunity to tell the group about their services and had wonderful bags for all of us to take home.  Elizabeth Colamarino with Colmar Contracting won the Crew Foundation Spot Light for the evening and also had a chance to introduce her company to our group.  For more information on both these companies, please click on the links below.

Melissa Dolesh graduated from Appalachian State University in 1992.  She started her professional career in Property Management and worked for 8 years at Highwoods Properties and 2 years at Trammell Crow.  Then she transitioned to the Vendor side and worked for 10 years at Scottie’s Building Services.  Melissa has been in the commercial janitorial business for the past three years, most recently joining the American Building Services team.  She has three kids, all in college.  Hobbies include tennis, reading, and running.

She also has experience in municipal law, low income tax credit transactions, and HUD insured and HUD direct loans. Amy was with Blanco Tackabery for ten years before joining a national title insurance company as North Carolina underwriting counsel. She rejoined the firm in 2016.

CREW Foundation Silent Auction

A Celebration of Success

In connection with its 70th anniversary and its longstanding commitment to honoring the success of women in commercial real estate, Real Estate Forum recognized the 2016 Women of Influence honorees.  Highlighting the ceremony, Gail Ayers, CEO of CREW Network and President of CREW Foundation received a Lifetime Achievement Award forum ALM Real Estate Media Group for her dedication to furthering the position of women in the industry.  Gail will be retiring at the end of this year after 11 years of service to CREW Network and 25 years as an organizational leader.  PTCREW is proud to have women of this caliber in our leadership roles.  Congratulations Gail Ayers and may you fully enjoy your retirement.
