2016 Spring Leadership Summitt

Last week Angela and Tessa attended the 2016 Crew Network Spring Leadership Summit in Detroit, Michigan.  The summit was held at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
These summits serve as CREW Network’s “leadership laboratories,” where our chapter leaders receive leadership training, participate in association business, and demonstrate their skills in a supportive environment. Our chapter leaders also have the opportunity to network with leaders from other chapters all across the country.
One of our chapter goals for this year was to complete the Foundation Chapter Challenge.  To do this we had to donate $1,000.00 to the Foundation, have 100% board participation and 50% membership participation.  This is the first year we have met all three goals.  Our chapter was recognized for meeting this goal on table tents at every table throughout the summit.  Thank you to all who participated in making this happen, we were one of four chapters to get this recognition!   For more information in CREW Foundation, please visit the website at www.crewnetwork.org.
