August 9, 2016 the Rentenbach team will be leading PTCREW on a tour of Union Square Campus.

Union Square Campus is a key initiative of Opportunity Greensboro, a working group of leaders from Greensboro, NC businesses, foundations and higher education institutions. This national model of collaboration is identifying and acting on opportunities to transform our wealth of educational assets into economic success-creating for Greensboro a competitive advantage for business growth.  The first campus building will focus on training and education for healthcare professions and has been constructed by Rentenbach Constructors of Greensboro.

July Coffee Connections- Get To Know HP

Did you know….

  • High Point University (HPU) was founded in 1924 as High Point College, it became High Point University in October 1991.
  • HPU offers 47 undergraduate majors, 51 undergraduate minors and 12 graduate degrees
  • HPU was ranked No. 1 among all regional colleges in the south.
  • HPU has an undergraduate class of over 4,200 students.
  • The university attracts students from 37 countries and 48 states and hosts more than 80,000 visitors annually.
  • Since 2005, HPU has increased the number of buildings on campus from 22 to 112 representing a 409 percent increase, which are all sourced to local contractors in the Piedmont Triad.

Join us for breakfast on July 12 at 8:00 am for a walking tour of the campus and to learn more about High Point University… where it has been, where it is going and how it impacts the local community.

We will gather at 8:00am and the tour will begin at 8:15, prompt.  Parking for the event will be in lots A/B and we will meet at the fountain.  We will visit about four (4) buildings and end at the Wanek Center for an informal question and answer session.  Please wear comfortable shoes.. this is a walking tour! There will be no late registration for this event.  All registrations must be in by July 8, 2016.

Durham Boutique Hotel Tour


Tour three new boutique hotels in downtown Durham on Thursday, May 12th @ 5:00p.m.


TCREW members along with PTCREW members will have the opportunity to network and tour three new hotels in downtown Durham.  Think of this as a pub crawl – instead of pubs, we get to see the inside of three of the hottest hotels in Durham.  Each hotel will have a signature drink offered for our members and at our last stop we will have a roof top bar and hor d’oeuvres.  The 21c Museum Hotel has offered TCREW and PTCREW Members a special rate of $125 for the night should anyone want to stay over.
